3 Points Karate Martial Arts Training
From our 3-5 year old program to our Adult classes, our martial arts program has been intentionally designed to promote growth physically, mentally, and emotionally. Each student is taught that through dedication, focus, and discipline any barrier can be broken.
Our Martial Arts Emphasis
The classroom at Three Points Karate is a supportive, encouraging environment where your child will learn to overcome obstacles through independent motivation.
Goal Setting
It is important for each child to learn to set short-term, intermediate, and long-term goals. At Three Points Karate, every child’s goal is the Black Belt. This symbol of excellence in martial arts is an important tool for instructors and parents to use for developing desire, tenacity, and teaching the importance of follow-through in any activity.
Schoolwork
All young martial arts students are encouraged to bring copies of their grades from school, and required to complete parent/teacher forms and exam qualification forms prior to testing. These activities support our focus on developing academic excellence and personal growth.
Classroom Training
Although Three Points Karate’s main Curriculum emphasis is Character Development and Leadership Training, it is important to note that Three Points Karate’s physical martial arts training is second to none.
Self-Discipline - The most vital part or our Martial Arts curriculum ensures that we maintain safety amongst our students and that your child does not ‘lose their cool’ in a trying situation (whether it may be defending themselves or taking a college entrance exam).
Self-Defense – We hope they never have to, but your child will learn to defend themselves mentally and physically with fun, effective self-defense techniques taught through age-appropriate curriculum.
Self-Confidence - Through emotional and physical control our students can begin to develop true confidence. It’s confidence that they earn through their own hard work; confidence they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
